Reflecting on Omega23: Designing an Open and Engaging Space
Participating in Omega23 marked a significant milestone as the new Marketing Manager for Optique Line, as it was my first-ever trade show. I was determined to create a space that showcased our brand in a new light and offered an inviting and memorable experience for our existing accounts and those unfamiliar with the company.

Inspired by the latest trends in optical boutiques across Europe, I was determined to design a stand that was open, welcoming, and innovative. Extensive research into these new European boutiques revealed a common design element: horizontal shelves that elegantly display eyewear. I decided to incorporate this feature into our Omega23 stand, creating a seamless and engaging visual flow that would capture the attention of attendees.

One key aspect of the stand design was its sustainability. I aimed to create a space that could be repurposed, minimising waste and maximizing utility. The horizontal shelves and lighting fixtures used in the Omega23 stand were specifically chosen for their versatility and durability. After the show, these elements were not discarded but instead carefully saved and repurposed for future use.
Designing our stand for Omega23 was about more than just aesthetics; it was about creating an environment that felt welcoming and innovative, reflecting the essence of Optique Line.
This approach has proven invaluable as we plan for the Oshow in 2024, as I am designing with longevity in mind. By reusing the shelves and lighting fixtures from Omega23, we will optimise the use of resources while ensuring a consistent and cohesive design aesthetic. Additionally, these materials will be instrumental in refitting our boardroom, transforming it into a sophisticated showroom that showcases our latest eyewear collections in an elegant and functional setting.
